Vases Galore!

This post will show off some of the amazing vases found in jadite. Some are very very rare, and others can be bought for less than $10!

The truth is that depression glass vases are some of the most inexpensive pieces to collect. In fact, many collectors begin their obsession with a vase found at a thrift store or perhaps given to them by a relative. Jadite is no exception. When one considers jadite vases, the "big three" manufactures (Jeannette, Anchor Hocking, McKee) come to mind as the most common producers of vase forms found. However, as a good friend recently revealed out to me, Akro Agate had many vase forms that are inexpensive and beautiful. They should be considered as well.

McKee

This beautiful 8" tall three footed vase is

More commonly found McKee "nude lady" and clothed nude lady vases. 8 1/2" tall and worth around $80-90 (from eBay.com)
